2010 Ferrari California
From the driver’s seat, now is the experience that is typical for Ferrari, which means a big red starter button, a Mannetino controls on the steering wheel, and a paddle-shifted transmission. When you start first, you will notice that the suspension is soft, the gear changes are smooth and, like all modern Ferraris, the feeling of directors and Cadillac overboosted little.
I went to California in traffic for nearly a hundred miles before I finally threw in the corner and realized quickly that, like the 599 GTB and 612 Scaglietti, which has two very different personalities. California does with astonishing immediacy probably lead to a large part of its weight on the axles. To this end, the V-8 mounted completely behind the front axle and the double clutch transaxle is mounted on the back. No more feedback through the steering wheel and brakes are a bit ‘of wood, but this is a car that knows how to dance.
